Plesant surroundings. Very convenient location. Warm water. Has outdoor shower, clean washroom and change rooms. Children's playground.

Fresh water lake that gets deep quickly. The water is usually a fantastic temperature. The beach is small, and is a popular spot, but worth it.

Great lake and beach in the city. Warm water. But lots of people smoking even with posted no-smoking signs - mostly teenagers who also play loud music everytime I have been there.

Not a huge beach but close to the downtown core of Halifax. A decent sized parking lot that can get full though but there is lots of Street parking just a minute walks away. Water is normally always warm (in the proper months) and clean and clear
